I need a Go! Cutter, because I have a 3yr old and a 1yr old who like to pull at fabric and make accurate cutting very difficult. I would start with the basics and then try out all the fun appliqué.

My top 3 choices are:
Strip cutter 2 1/2"
Half Square-3" Finished Triangle
Double Wedding Ring

Andy said...

oh I would love to win an AccuQuilt Go...my least favorite part of quilting is the cutting - especially fussy cutting ug! I had a sunbonnet sue quilt (from my grandma) when I was little, and I would love to make a replica using 1930s fabrics. The three dies I would choose are (of course) Sunbonnet Sue, the Rose of Sharon, and a classic: Circles!

I'd love to have an Accuquilt Go because i'm just horrible with cutting fabric. I make so many mistake in the cutting process that I feel so defeated, I usually wind up putting the project away and not finishing it, leading to UFO's and much frustration on my part. So a Go! would definitely help me enjoy the quilting process more. I'd love the double wedding ring die, the hexagon set, and the 2 1/2" strip for binding. Thanks for such a great giveaway!

I'd like a cutter because no matter how careful I am, I make mistakes using a rotary cutter - sometimes very bloody!
I'd love to have the Double wedding ring, the apple core and 31/2" strip cutter.

I definitely need one of these so I can help my dear wife with all of her fabric projects! I can't sew, I don't quilt, I can't cut straight... but I buy the DW wonderful fabric gadgets. With a GO! cutter I can actually, you know, cut fabric!

The 3 dies I'd must have would be: 2.5" Strip Cutter, Circle, and Triangle-Isosceles-5"x6"

The cutter looks so handy and I'd like it because I could uuae it for sewing,, felt board items for library time, and possibly scrapbooks.
I like the applique dies best. Critters. Fall medley. And thee flowers. Those would be tricky to cut by hand.
Thanks

Hi. I would love to have this the Go! Cutter to motivate me to quilt more. I love the piecing & quilting but always dread the cutting. My favorite dies are: the 7" Drunkard's Path, Rob Peter to Pay Paul & the 2.5" Strip Cutter. Thanks!

Pick Me - Pick Me!
I would love to win an AccuQuilt so I can spend time sewing, rather than cutting! I would like the drunkered path die, which is the most tedious to cut.
Thanks for hosting!!

I would like to win this Go to use it to cut quilts for myself; but mostly for the charity quilts I make with my friends. I love all aspects of quilting. I have not problems with my rotary cutter; but this will be nice to use to make even more quilts for our communities and people in need of TLC. The dies that I would like are: 21/2" strips, 2" strips and the hexagon since they would be perfect for community quilts. Thanks for the chance to win.

KateKwiltz said...

Why wouldn't you want this cutter? It would save time so I could spend it making more quilts! I'm all over the 2.5" strip, rectangle, and circle dies!
Thanks for the opportunity! This is a great giveaway!

Kerry said...

Wow! I'd love one of these! If it's as easy to use the Sizzix brand (paper equivalent) then its a winner for me. I'm sure it's such a time saver and there's nothing quite like a little stack of perfectly cut shapes all waiting to be pieced.... The choice of dies is a tough one, but I'd love Tumbler,21/2inch strip cutter and Chisels. Thanks for the chance :-)

Beeshebags said...

I would love to win the Accuquilt GO! cutter, because I've seen the reviews bloggers have done on the GO! and I can see how much time I could save on cutting out. I'd also be able to 'showcase' the GO! to local quilt shops in the hopes that they'll start stocking them over here in Australia. The 3 dies I'd like are 2 & 1/2 " strip, dresden plates and the 5" square. Thanks heaps for the opportunity to win.

Hugs
Naomi

I would like to win the AccuQuilt Go! cutter because it would speed up my cutting time and give me more time to quilt. I have 2 young children so quilting time is very precious. I would choose the Double Wedding Ring, the Dresden Plate and the 2 1/2 dies. Thanks for the giveaway!

Merry Made Quilts said...

I would love the cutter because honestly cutting is the most tedious part of the whole quilting experience! It's dangerous around toddlers and you're just plain sore by the end! I would love the 1) the 2 1/2 inch strip cutter 2) the drunkards path (your quilt is fantastic); and 3) the half-square 4" finished triangle. Thanks for the chance!!

Anonymous said...

I have been struggling with accuracy of my cuts and this would help me tremendously! I would love to have the drunkards path, the 1.5 strip, and the 2.5 strip dies. I think these would make my life so much easier!

i would love to win as my least favorite thing about quilting is cutting....so this would save me time and make me a very happy girl!!

it was super hard to decide on just 3 dies...but they would have to be Hexagons, Circles, and Tumbler....

have a great weekend

Heather said...

I would love a Go cutter because I love to quilt, but don't have a lot of time to do it, unfortunately. I think having this system woudl dave so much time on the tedious task of cutting fabric, so that I can spend what little time I do have to quilt on the fun stuff!

My choice for three dies would be the new Double Wedding Ring, the Circle Set, and the 2.5 in strip cutter.

I would love to win this machine for my sister! She has carpel tunnel and has problems cutting things out with scissors. She makes beautiful quilts, but has had to cut back on making ones that require her cutting multiple things out with scissors. Her birthday is coming up and this would make an wonderful present for her! I love the following templates: Hexagon, Winding Ways and the Tumbler. Thank you so much for a chance to win!

jilbysue@hotmail.com

N. said...

I have just finished a hexagon quilt and having the go cutter would have made it much easier to have all the hexagons the same size. (I cut the templates by hand.) I also have wanted to try a circle or curved quilt for a long time. Having the Go cutter would make that possible.

The 3 that I would want is any size hexagon, any size circle and maybe the rose of sharon. It is so hard to narrow it down to 3.

What a great giveaway! I would love to win one of these to save time cutting the odd shapes that are difficult to do with just rulers. I would go for the large drunkards path, hexagons and the bountiful baskets.

Hi Julie:

I would love to win the cutter as it would increase my accuracy and speed up the process of getting to the sewing machine! I would like the hexagon, half square 3 inch finished triangle and blazing star dies. Thanks for the fantastic give away and your tutorials, carolann427@aol.com

I need this cutter to save my sanity! I have 3 little kiddos, so all my quilting gets done after they are in bed for the night, which doesn't leave me much time to get anything done since I have to get up for work at 5 am. With this cutter I could get an entire quilt cut in minutes instead of hours, leaving me with time to actually piece together my quilts. What a novel idea! :)
The 3 dies I would pick are the 2 1/2" strip, the double wedding ring, and the 6 1/2" triangle.

Debby said...

I would love this cutter! I have RA in my hands and arms and I'm not able to cut wih scissors, well except for threads. Pre-cuts get costly and with this new Accu-cutter I would be able to do so many more designs on my quilts. I think hearts, hexagons, and star dies would be fun.

Lori said...

I'm glad to have found your blog just in time to enter your generous giveaway! I would love the AccuQuilt Go because I'm not the greatest cutter and last year actually cut off a piece of my left index finger. :( I hate when my ruler slips and was holding it too close to the edge obviously. Now I've decided my fingers are more important than accuracy...but the GO would be the ultimate solution! I would choose the basic dies: 2 1/2" strips, 5" squares, and maybe the apple core to mix things up (I've always wanted to do a scrappy apple core quilt). Thanks so much!

Heather said...

I'd like to win this for my mom. :) She's putting me up and feeding me while I go through teacher's college and she's teaching me to quilt. She also lets me use all her fabric and fancy sewing machine all I want. Love you, Mom!

I'd like the 2 1/2" strip, 3" half square and the circle set.

Thanks!

I would love to use this machine to make the quilts I can't cut out with my rotary cutter! I love the apple core, tumbler, and hexagon dies, and would love to make those quilts!

Thanks for the chance to win, and your honest review of this product :)

I'd really like to use the Go! cutter to enhance my applique techniques and to cut curves and triangles without driving myself crazy! :) The three dies that I'd use the most are:
1. Go! Fall Medley
2. Go! Blazing Star
3. Go! Drunkard's Path 7" finished

Oh shucks, I forgot to add my top 3 choices for dies. They are drunkard's path, double wedding ring, chisels. I quilt with my wife when we can get our toddler to be quiet.

I would love one of these to eliminate some of the cutting for me. That is my least favorite part of quilting. My choices would be the Dresden Plate, Drunkard's Path and Winding Ways. All typs of quilts I would never make without this because it requires to much effort in the cutting.

Katie said...

I'm new to quilting and I'm getting my Ph.D., so I don't have much extra time, but I'd use the go cutter to cut down on the time spent cutting so that I can spend more time at my machine! I'd pick the hexagons die, drunkard's path die, and the double wedding ring die. Thanks!

I really want an Accuquilt Go! cutter because with it I can jump straight from designing to sewing! It can take me forever to pick out the perfect fabric. Once I decide on the perfect fabric it can be very exciting and I can't wait to see how they look sewn together. The worst part is losing steam during the cutting process and walking away! I always think, well I have this piece all laid out and smooth so I might as well cut all the pieces I need from this fabric now, which means I don't get through all of the fabrics I have chosen and that initial spark fades away. I think with this cutter I could focus more on trying different fabrics together and less time hunched over my table!

I also love that I could trust anyone to cut my fabric with the Accuquilt! Have you ever had someone want to "help"? What is a perfectionist to do? Have you ever tried to explain how precious 1/4" is? I can't always trust my precious fabric to the inexperienced because rotary mistakes DO happen. I would love to have friends use the Accuquilt because they would really feel involved in the process and I can relax knowing they can't, ahem, screw it up!

I would want so many dies, but right off the bat I would love to have the 4"x4" Go! Diamonds, the 3" Triangles in Square, and the lovely Dresden Plate!

Thanks Jaybird!

I would love to win the cutter to give to my mom. She isn't very internet savvy so its nice to enter giveaways for her. She retired several years ago and began quilting. She finds so much joy in working with fabrics and making things for others. Last year she broke her arm quite severely and had to have a half shoulder replacement. Cutting fabric is much more difficult now and I think the Go! cutter would help her get back into quilting again (and use up some of the fabric she has bought during the last year!)
She has mentioned that she would love to make (and use the dies for): A double wedding ring, a circle quilt, and an apple core.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this for my amazing mom!

thanks for the giveaway! Claire

I'd love to have a GO!!!! because I'm always just a 'little' off on my rotary cutting. And you know what 'a little off' means when you put the whole quilt together. I'd like to have the Circle, hexagon and half square triangle 3" dies. Thank you so much for letting us all have a chance to win!

I would love to have this cutter because cutting anything other than straight lines freaks me out! If I won, I would like the 7" drunkards path, the sunbonnet sue, and the overall sam.

I would like the GO! because cutting is my least favorite part of the process, and with a 14 month old running around I don't tend to get a lot of free time to quilt. I think the cutter will help me be more efficient! I like the hexagons, 7" drunkard's Path and 4" HST. Thanks for this giveaway!

NEED is the key word. IF I needed the GO, I would probably have to buy one. I WANT a GO to cut my quilt pieces more accurately and quickly. Time is a factor for me and I think it would speed up the process for me. I would really like the Dresden plate die, Hexagon die and Circle die. I think these three dies would save me alot of time cutting. Thanks for the chance to win a GO.

Kathy said...

I would like an accuquilt to help me USE my fabric collection! And the dies I would most like I think are more of the applique ones - rose of shannon, funky flowers and I think the rag quilt cutter (large one?) because that could use fabric QUICKLY, lol.

Thank you so much for this giveaway. I would like to win the AccuQuilt GO! cutter so that I can continue to teach myself and my girls how to quilt with more ease and safety. We are learning and teaching ourselves together with the help of wonderful blogs like yours. We would love to have the confidence to try a curved project and so we would like the Apple Core 6 1/4", the Double Wedding Ring, and the Drunkard's Path 7" dies. Thank you Julie and thank you AccuQuilt!

Having a soon to be 3 year old around the house, I'm so paranoid about my rotary cutter (even though I lock it up like Fort Knox). I'd like to try the Go! and see how it does. Thank you for the review. I remember using something similar to this when I taught 2nd grade years ago . It would cut multiple paper pieces for bulletin boards...etc. My favorite dies are the Alpha Baby, Holiday Medley and the 2 1/2 strip (although I should probably decide on something else other than the strip after your review). Thank you for this giveaway!

I would love to use this because I am not very good with anything sharp--scissors, knives, you got it. I would love to try the hexagons I see everyone making, but I'm afraid of cutting them out! I would also love to make a Sunbonnet Sue quilt--like the one I found in the closet as a kid and claimed. The three dies I would choose would be the hexagons, sunbonnet sue, and circles. Thanks for the chance to win!

I work with a group of ladies and we make "Quilts for Kids". We have about 20-25 that volunteer one day a week to make quilts for children who are abuse or been taken from their homes. We also make quilts for the children in hospitals and wounded soldiers. We could really use the 2.5" strip, 6.5 square and drunkards path.

I would love to try the cirles, 1/2 square and hexagon.

I would like a GO cutter so I could make those quilts that have curvy and odd shape pieces that can't be cut with a straight ruler. I love those quilts but have always shied away from making them. The three dies I would want would be the drunkard's path, the apple core and the double wedding ring. My son is getting married in April - wouldn't a double wedding ring quilt be an awesome gift?
Thanks for a great giveaway!

I would love an Accuquilt Go because I can't cut a staight line with a ruler! Seriously, I have a problem with wonky strips and cutting shapes like hexagons and circles would be soooo much easier. Besides, with all the wonderful reviews, who wouldn't want one? The three dies i would pick are the circles, hexagons and double wedding ring!

I would use the go! cutter to make my first dresden plate quilt. I've been wanting to put one together for a bit and having the cutter would make that soooo much easier! :)

The three dies I would want are of course, 1. the dresden plates, 2. the drunkard's path, and 3. the tumbler.

I am new to quilting and can not cut fabric very well let alone other shapes. I used a pen and ruler to draw the shapes on, before testing a rotary cutter and mat... cut and bewildered later, I grabbed my pen and ruler again.. safer option... The dies I like are:
1.GO! Half Square-4" Finished Triangle
2.GO! Hexagon-2", 3", 5"
3.GO! Feathers

I'm a busy grad student trying to get my PhD and have very little time to quilt, even though I've totally fallen in love with it after discovering it a few years ago. This cutter would save so much time and let me get all those projects I'm dying to make done. I'd give them away to my friends then to spread the love!

The dies I would love to have would be the 2 1/4 inch strip cutter, the double wedding ring (so I could make quilts for my friends as they get married!), and the 2 inch squares, because they would be so useful for scraps!
