I'd like to introduce to you...
Wondrous Woven Fabrics!!
disclosure: this is a sponsored giveaway
Wondrous Woven Fabrics is a fabulous online shop run by Cathy Asimakopoulos. Cathy & I recently had the chance to meet when we were both in Houston for Quilt Market.
Cathy has 3 sons, and she does make clothes for them often, but not as much as if they were girls! Like most of us, she just can't find enough time for all the projects that I want to make. She also has the "UFO" problem of getting around to finishing projects. She plans on coming up with a New Years Resolution to get more projects finished!
Some things I want from her shop...
More Dr. Seuss
Parisville by Tula Pink
Innocent Crush by Anna Maria Horner
It's a Hoot by Momo
I could go on and on....
I asked Cathy how she chooses the fabrics for her shop...
As far as something about my shop. I like to carry fabrics that I love. I'm particularly excited about a line called "third in line" from Marcia Derse who designs fabric for Troy Corp. It'll be added to my shop this week. I like to carry the popular lines, but also have a few that might be a bit different. A few lines coming soon to the shop from Camelot Cottons are Watercolor Garden and Garden Path by Meera and Beautiful Trees by Melissa Marie. The fabrics I carry do tend to lean toward the modern quilter, but there are more traditional things, too. I also have some flannels and pre-cuts from Holly Taylor Classics for Moda--traditional and masculine. In addition I want to expand my line of solids, too. So much that I want to add soon including wools for quilting and Cherry House's Silk Tempest.
Thanks for sharing Cathy!
